Having retrained as a Personal Trainer and Wellness Coach, after my own journey along the fitness and health highway, I decided that to run a marathon was a great idea. It was something I had thought about for a couple of years, since I took up running again. Now that I have accomplished that goal, I feel that there are many more “marathons” in me, not necessarily the road running type. I feel life is a kind of marathon, each day leading to an outcome at the end of a journey, a journey that is physical, mental, emotional, intellectual and spiritual. So while the primary focus of my writing is running and health and fitness, there are other bits in there, just to keep life interesting!
